Paralegal/ Administrative Assistant

The Paralegal/Administrative Assistant will provide organizational and matter specific assistance to attorneys in our Denver office throughout all stages of real estate transactions, as well as assist with special projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with drafting, revising, managing and organizing various documents related to real estate transactions (15%)
  • Tracks, obtains and organizes transaction documents to assure performance of obligations (15%)
  • Provide support with legal research (5%)
  • Assists with tenant delinquency cases (file FEDs, drafting Complaints) (5%)
  • Ensures matter files and transaction details are completed to the extent possible (and regularly updated) in our matter tracking software (25%)
  • Manages Firm calendar, provides reminders to attorneys regarding upcoming deadlines and missing documents (10%)
  • Maintains timely and accurate timekeeping records (10%)
  • Assists with other Firm activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned (15%)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter who understands the details within a much larger context
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands
  • Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of real estate paralegal experience within a law firm
  • Computer proficiency on both Mac and Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications (ie word, outlook, pages, excel)
  • Knowledge of Clio is a plus!

Schedule/Office Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm
  • Office is located in Cherry Creek
  • Remote work is not currently available for this position

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Senior Associate Attorney

Candidate must have 6+ years of experience with commercial real estate transactions, including but not limited to the representation of developers, lenders, landlords, tenants and equity investors in real estate acquisitions, development, finance and management. Experience with commercial leasing, reviewing and negotiation of purchase/sale contracts, title and due diligence, loan documents, etc is required. This is a partnership track position and ideal candidate should have some portable business.

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

Active Colorado Bar License

Travel Required:

Yes – 15-20%

Office Location:

Denver, Colorado (Cherry Creek)

Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Salary Range:

$150,000-$190,000

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

While our firm does not have a billable hour requirements, candidates should expect to bill around 1300-1400 per year.
